Shri. Sachin Talewar currently holds the additional charge of Director (Operations) of the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL). Prior to this, he served as the Director (Technical) at the Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited, Indore.

        Mr. Talewar has been associated with MSEDCL for the past 28 years, holding various key positions. A native of Nagpur district, he completed his schooling in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. After his degree in Electrical Engineering, he began his career in 1997 as a Junior Engineer at the then Maharashtra State Electricity Board in Chandrapur.

        He was later promoted to Assistant Engineer and, in 2006, selected through a direct recruitment process as an Executive Engineer. In this role, he served in Wardha, Nagpur, and Jalna. During this period, he was also selected by MSEDCL to pursue a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) in Energy Management at the Management Development Institute (MDI) in Gurgaon, which he completed in 2007–08.

       In 2016, he was appointed Superintendent Engineer through another direct recruitment process and worked in Latur. Subsequently, in 2018, he was selected as Chief Engineer, and served as the Chief Engineer of the Pune Zone from June 2018 to December 2022. He was later transferred to the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Zone in the same capacity.

        In May 2023, Mr. Talewar was appointed as Director (Technical) at the Madhya Pradesh Paschim Kshetra Vidyut Vitaran Company Limited, Indore, where he served for two years.
