Note:
  1. In case consumer opts to purchase the meter, metering Cabinet/ cubicle from MSEDCL, the security for the price of the meter, metering Cabinet/ cubicle in accordance with the provisions of clause 14.1.1 of MERC Regulation, 2005 will not be applicable.
  2. In case of lost and burnt meter and metering cabinet/cubicle, the installation testing fees will be recovered from the consumer as per Annexure-E.
  3. Meter box will be provided by MSEDCL at its own cost.
  4. The GST will be levied extra as per applicable rates.

Meter Specifications
Note :
  1. After purchasing the meter from above empanelled vendors, consumer should handover the meter to MSEDCL for testing (except single phase meter).
  2. For Single phase meter, consumer should obtain the test certificate from the approved empanelled agency from whom the meter is purchased.
  3. Approved meter providing agency shall seal the single phase meters appropriately at the time of handing over to consumer.
  4. MSEDCL can test the meter for its correctness as and when required.
  5. Cost of meter will be refunded through bill as per prevailing Schedule of Charges approved by MERC.
