ADMINISTRATIVE CIRCULAR NO. 9 DT. 11.11.2005

Sub: Permission to use Mobile phones to the Executive Engineers of O&M Divisions.

The issue regarding reimbursement of Mobile Phone charges for Company’s work to the Executive Engineers in charge of O&M Divisions was under consideration of the Company for sometime past. 

2. Now the M.D. in consultation with Director (Finance) and Director (Operations) has accorded approval to –

(1) Reimbursement of Mobile Phone charges upto Rs.1500/- per month including rent and call charges.

(2) The cost of the handset of the Mobile shall be borne by the Executive Engineer concerned.

(3) Only National roaming facility will be admissible.

(4) The Executive Engineer in-charge of O&M Divisions will have to notify his mobile number to all concerned as the very purpose to reimburse mobile charges is to give better and faster services to the consumers.

3. The above facility is extended to the Executive Engineers in charge of O&M Divisions in addition to the existing landline residential telephone facility.

4. The above instructions shall come into force with effect from 16.11.05.
