Sub: Data retrieval of static Tri-Vector TOD meters installed to consumers.
The static Tri-vector TOD meter installed by MSEDCL to HT/LTPG consumers have the features to detects and stores occurrence and restoration of following abnormal events.
Missing Potential and potential imbalance.
Current unbalance.
Current Reversal.
Current Circuit Short.
Power ON/OFF.
The meter keeps records for minimum 280 events (occurrence + Restoration) on FIFO basis i.e First In First Out.
In addition to above the load survey data for every 30 minutes and for pervious 60 days for phase wise currents, kVAh, RkVAh, kVA and kWh parameters is also stored on FIFO basis. Similarly power interruption data is also stored.
The above abnormal events data, load survey data and power interruption data can be retrieved by using MRI (i.e. Meter Reading Instruments). This MRI data can also be uploaded to P.C. having MRI soft-wear and ultimately we can get the print-out of these data.
As, the above data stored on FIFO basis in the meter, all Chief Engineers / Superintending Engineers shall ensure that the concern field officer should retrieve the data of TOD meters installed to all HT consumers every month while taking monthly reading by using MRI.
The Superintending Engineers here by instructed to send the above data, (i.e. Retrieved by MRI) of all H.T. consumers, coming under their jurisdiction, to the Chief Engineer (Commercial) from the month of Feb 2006 onward regularly by e-mail.
