Shri Vijay Vaddettiwar
- Minister of State For Energy, Govt. of Maharashtra & Vice Chairman, MSEB Holding Company Ltd.
 
Shri Vijay Namdeorao Vaddettiwar has taken over as Minister of State for Energy of Govt. of Maharashtra on November 07, 2009. With this he is also an ex-officio Vice Chairman of MESB Holding Company Ltd, Mumbai. Earlier he was the Minister of State for Water Resources, Command Area Development, Tribal Development, Forest and Environment since December-2008 in Maharashtra Ministry.

He hails from village Karanji in Gondpimpari taluka of Chandrapur district & represents Chimur Assembly Constituency. He was also Member of Maharashtra Legislative Council during 1998 to 2004. He had been the Chairman of Forest Development Corporation during 1995 to 1998. An acclaimed politician and social worker also holds various positions of importance in many other spheres throughout his public life.
